Here's a saxophone you don't see every day, and that you can't even buy new anymore. It's a Yanagisawa B9930 Elite professional baritone saxophone with solid silver neck, upper bow, and body tube, and silver plated brass bottom bow and bell. I just saw that Sweetwater has the modern BWO30 version listed for only $24,999 (and it's no longer made AND out of stock everywhere). Pretty wild! I think Yanagisawa makes the best, most satisfying to play baritone saxophones in the world today, for most players (Keilwerth Shadow is also great but the tone may be too dark for many people). And this is the top of the line of Yanagisawa baritones. This particular instrument has all the bells and whistles - solid silver, double braced key arms, ribbed construction, silver plate on the bow and bell (some B9930's were just regular lacquered brass bow and bell), and it also has the cool adjustable floor peg feature that you don't always see on modern baritones, but that I think is really useful and great. (Means you can rest it on the floor like a bass clarinet or cello - your back will thank you.) The original case is in great shape as well. There are no dents or dings, and no signs of past repairs. The only real wear is some plating wear on the bell from regular use and handling. Could be touched up if you wanted it to be. If you want a rare, valuable, collectible modern baritone that is world class and that will probably go up in value, this would be one of your best options. Only one available!
