Yamaha YSS-62 Soprano Saxophone Mint

This is a mint condition, collector-grade purple label YSS-62 soprano saxophone in totally original condition, original case, polishing cloth, keys, mouthpiece. Besides being a time capsule-type horn, it also plays great! I consider the YSS-62 and 62R to be the best, or at least among the best soprano saxophones ever made. The tone is warm, round, pleasant, medium bright and mouthpiece-flexible. The intonation is excellent, and the ergonomics are very good as well. The feel of the horn is also important; it is a light horn with light keywork as well- nothing like the later, heavier Yamaha sopranos in the Custom series.
