This is a beautiful Yamaha YAS-62IIIS alto saxophone that is in near mint original condition with original silver plate finish. It also comes with an upgraded special order gold plated Yamaha 62 neck, a gold plated neck screw, a gold plated thumb rest and a gold plated heavy mass weight on the bell to body brace (which is removable, and which I would remove if I were you). It plays beautifully, and looks like it has hardly been played since it was new. It came from a pro player who left it nearly untouched as his backup alto. This is as close to a new 62 in silver plate that you are likely to find, and it has a lot of extras included as well!
The 62III is one of the best professional altos on the market, and it is also one of the least expensive at the same time! This horn has a beautiful warm tone, excellent ergonomics and excellent intonation. Whether you want to play jazz or classical or concert band, it won't hold you back. It's a horn that just does everything well, gets out of the way, and frees you up to make rapid progress in playing saxophone. It comes in a newish Pro-Tec case that fits the heavy mass brace weight, but it fits in the original Yamaha case without the weight if you prefer, assuming I still have one around and you want that instead.
