I was happy to be able to pickup one of these super-limited-edition Selmer 130th anniversary altos recently. For the Selmer collector, this is a must-have, as it very cleverly combines elements of each and every previous model of Selmer saxophone into one special instrument that sums up everything that Selmer has done up to this point. I don't want to spoil any of the discoveries for you, but I would encourage you to look through the photos of this one carefully and ask yourself, of each little detail on the horn, which model of Selmer it is borrowed from. So cool! This one was only played a bit. I'll get it cleaned up and looking nearly new pre-sale and check the pads etc so that it comes to you playing extremely well. There were only 500 of these made, and this one is marked #047. I imagine this will make it more valuable someday if you're wanting to have a modern Selmer that is also something of an investment.
