Woodwind Co NY offered 168 combinations of facings and chambers, not including the special models. Back in the day, you would go in and get fitted for a mouthpiece that wsa custom made for you. The Dick Stabile model was one of their most popular special versions, and was a consummate lead alto piece with a large tip and lots of projection but with a dark, cool, laid back tone. This is a 0.080" tip, equivalent to a Meyer 7, so it's perfect for lead alto and has super easy altissimo, which shouldn't be surprising if you dig up some Dick Stabile alto recordings.
