Yanagisawa S-990 Soprano Saxophone

This is a beautiful, near mint S-990 with high G key. This horn is in great playing condition and feels nice and snappy under the fingers. The ergonomics and intonation are both excellent, as you expect with Yanagisawa sopranos. The tone is medium bright and lyrical. Clear and round with out being harsh or nasal. It's an easy horn to listen to, and it's fun to play.

There is little to no wear on this sax. It looks like it has hardly been played at all. No past damage, no past repairs, body is straight, necks look great. Just a super-clean, handmade soprano with the best build quality in the world. I am a big fan of Yanagisawa across the board. If you are beginning the difficult task of comparison-shopping a pro soprano using only the internet, you could hardly beat this horn, no matter what you get. I should also mention that it includes the original case, the very nice Yanagisawa 5 hard rubber mouthpiece, and the warranty card.
