This beautiful Yanagisawa A990u alto just got a nice setup and plays really well. These Yanagisawas from the 80's and 90's have the best build quality of just about any modern saxophone. This also tunes well, has high F#, plays very easily throughout the range, is comfortable ergonomically, and has a warm, interesting tone. Yanagisawa is a fantastic company that makes only professional saxophones. This horn plays really well with a medium bright sound that darkens up with a classical/concert band mouthpiece, and brightens up and projects for jazz or other styles. It's a highly-recommend purchase for a player who wants a quality horn to last for many years that will also hold its value well.
