This is a solid Yamaha 61 pro level tenor that just got about $300 worth of playing condition work done. It still has some noise in the keys, and some older pads, but it has a lot of new pads, and it plays pretty well. If you need a good horn for bar gigs, pep band in college, marching band, or basically anywhere you want a horn that tunes well and is fun to play, but isn't in danger of getting ruined by a bump or scratch, this is your horn. This is not, however, a sax that plays perfectly on current pads. It plays pretty well, but you still have to work for low Bb a bit.
