This special order Yamaha Custom Z alto is the no high F# version. This really does change how it feels to play, and some people really chase these no F# versions. They do feel more like a vintage horn, especially if you’re used to a Mark VI without F#. This one is in virtually like new condition. It’s ‘mint’ to ‘near mint’ – I mean we took it out to do the video, but it has been played very very little since new. Everything is just how it should be, and it’s still priced way lower than a new one. Also, you don’t have to wait 6 months for Yamaha to make it for you! Only one available.
