This is a beautiful, clean, nearly-new looking Yamaha custom professional level YAS-82Z alto saxophone just tuned up and playing great! The Yamaha 82Z is Yamaha’s top of the line along with the contrasting 875EX model, and is just an extremely easy saxophone to play in every respect. It has excellent build quality, excellent ergonomics, excellent intonation, reliability, etc, and it’s also a pleasure to play. The 82Z is the required saxophone for some college programs, so you can get a pro alto once and just keep using it forever if you want. Saxophones don’t really wear out, and Yamahas are cheap and easy to maintain with periodic pad checkups. This one has the G1 neck with it, and you might choose to try out necks at some point to change the sound in whatever direction (V1 more jazz, E1 more classical etc). Necks for Yamahas are affordable and very accessible, so that’s a fun additional feature on a Custom line instrument like this. There is no damage and there are no resolders and no evidence of other past repairs. It’s just a nice, clean turnkey purchase that also saves you thousands off the new price for a very comparable saxophone. Only one available!
