If you want a tenor piece for concert band that blends well while not closing down the tone of your tenor saxophone, this would be an excellent choice. It is medium between bright and dark and has enough of a tip opening that you can get some air through the horn, but without taking over the entire band and catching the eye of your band director in the wrong way...
