Selmer Super Balanced Action SBA Tenor Saxophone 49xxx

This horn is sold pending payment. Here's a very nice original Selmer SBA tenor that has about 97% of its original lacquer intact. It has had some minor dings removed from the back of the bow and from the bell. The neck was pulled down a little bit (not bad at all) and this was fixed by Aaron Barnard, who is the best in the world at that kind of work, so the neck is now in excellent shape. Besides that, the horn appears to be in clean original condition, with original pads and metal resonators intact. The American engraving is beautiful, and the lacquer has aged to that dark honey color that everyone loves in these horns.

This horn has a very good feel to the keywork, and the old pads still seal enough to get a sense that this horn has that classic SBA core to the tone. It is in line to get a fresh repad, so I will update the description if the horn doesn't sell before as-is before that happens.

This is a really nice example of an original SBA that is going to make someone very happy.
