Straight sidewalls, horseshoe chamber, and no baffle. Tip opening measures 0.079". This modern "reissue" of the soloist has the good looks of the original long scroll shank. On the inside the vintage versions have a very subtle rollover baffle and some subtle difference in chamber shape. This new Soloist D is a bit darker and more mellow than a vintage Soloist during comparison playing. This is more of a hybrid between a vintage Soloist and a modern C*.
