It's only about once or twice a year that a Mark VI alto this nice comes along. This one is everything you'd want in one of those: American engraving, original pads, no resolders, virtually all of the lacquer intact, original case, the works. Check out the pictures for the specifics of how close to mint it is. The only past repair is that the lower thumb hook was slightly pushed in and has been pushed back out again. This is very minor. This horn has a big, dark, powerful sound. These altos between around 90xxx-119xxx are my favorite for TONE - with more power and a more tenor-like feel and sound than perhaps any other alto. Whoever gets this horn is going to be a lucky owner of a superb alto!
