Here’s a chance to get a freshly-overhauled vintage Selmer Balanced Action tenor saxophone for a lower than average price. This tenor has been relacquered a couple of times, and it has had some dent work to the bow and also body tube below the neck receiver. It has nice Pisoni Italian leather pads and reusable slightly domed metal resonators (my favorite). The tone is pure balanced action - warm, medium spread, with a lyrical Selmer core. It comes in a nice BAM Classic tenor case that is form-fitted to a Selmer and will keep it very safe for shipping and gigging. It’s wild to me that because of the relacquer job, you can get a Balanced action for around the same as a boutique Taiwanese tenor. I would grab this while you can.
