This is a nice, warm, pleasant sounding mid-century hard rubber French alto saxophone mouthpiece made by Riffault. Riffault made excellent mouthpieces -- including some of the best soprano mouthpieces ever -- and this alto piece should be a great fit for the right player. It's a .064" tip which is about right for classical or concert band alto playing. The chamber is medium and round, and the facing work is really nicely done. This is a solid mouthpiece for concert playing where you won't sound just like everybody else, and the round chamber works better than an S80 Selmer square chamber on many (most) saxophones for easier intonation.
