This is an absolutely gorgeous original lacquer King Super 20 tenor saxophone with original everything. The original case even looks nearly new. Original lacquer is almost 100% and there is no damage at all. No dents or dings, no resolders, original factory pads intact and getting a complete overhaul done now through GetASax with Pisoni Italian leather pads and correct, flat metal resonators. The original neck is solid sterling silver and has basically all its original lacquer and no pull down or past damage. This is the ‘Series III’ Super 20, which has more modern key work combined with the solid silver, double-socket neck. It’s powerful, wall-shaking, bright but without thinning out, and it has a fatter sounding upper register than just about any other saxophone. Kings work great both for jazz and rock, and will project over a loud band better than just about anything. They have extremely durable solid nickel key work, which means that getting a pristine one is even better on a King because everything key work wise is straight, strong, and tight, and will remain so. This is one of the nicest that I have seen, and should be an absolutely fantastic horn for someone. Only one available!
