This is a remarkably clean and original Conn 30M from just about the best year for these, 1939. It had the lacquer stripped from the neck, but besides that it has nearly all of its original lacquer. There are no dents or dings and nothing has been resoldered. These are absolutely amazing horns when overhauled and play with a huge tone that also projects well without thinning out at all. The upper register is similarly gorgeous. And the 30M has all the rarity, extra engraving, solid silver key touches, and special neck etc that really trigger the dopamine receptors of the vintage saxophone enthusiasts and collectors out there. If this horn disappears from the website suddenly, it's because I decided to just keep it. It's so much rarer than a clean 5-digit Mark VI tenor, and plays better in many ways. Highly recommended!
