This is a beautiful Buffet Super Dynaction alto saxophone from 1959. It is all original including original pads so it's time for an overhaul. Overhaul should be straightforward though because nobody has overhauled this horn before, and it has minimal past damage - a few small dents removed is all. The original lacquer is dark and sparkly which is a cool look - my favorite sort of Buffet. It came from the original owner’s family in Canada and you would be the second owner. The early serial SDA’s are my favorite because they play darker and more complex than the later SDA’s to me. It’s a great tone - fuller in the upper register (I've called it 'operatic' in the past) than a Selmer Mark VI, but similar to a vintage Selmer in other ways. Only one available!
