Do you want a sweet sounding, in tune vintage American baritone saxophone for not much money? The Buescher True Tone has a big, warm, round tone and quite good intonation and is lots of fun to play. You can snag this one for the price of a student alto, because I want someone to have room to overhaul it and still come out ahead. It came from a nice collection of horns in MS that had not been played probably since the 1920's so while tarnished, this is something of a time capsule. Obviously, with over 100 year old pads, it does not play currently, but with some TLC, and hand polishing, this will look nearly brand new when it's finished. If you are wanting to DIY the overhaul, I can point you in the right direction for disassembly, cleaning and polishing and the rest. It comes in the original case, which has a musty smell (enzymatic cleaner and sunlight will take care of that). If you buy this and restore it, send me a few photos. It will look amazing polished up.
