This is a nice US engraved military band (silver plated) Buescher Aristocrat alto from around 1950 in excellent original condition with original snaps and spuds intact. These are very sweet players. The neck on this one is stamped 541. If you know what that might mean, let me know! I've seen the usual neck number stamps before, but not this one. It's from a very thorough collection of Buescher varieties though, so maybe it's special for some reason that I don't yet understand!
