After Arnold Brilhart sold his name and company, he had to wait a while before making mouthpieces again (10 years noncompete is what I read somewhere). When he started again, he went with 'ARB' (his initials) and made a much brighter mouthpiece than he had before. As bands got electrified, the sax had to fight to cut through the electric guitars, so mouthpieces got brighter and brighter to keep up. This alto piece is the equivalent of a Meyer 10 tip, so very open and projecting. It's an interesting piece, and not one I would personally play regularly, but if you like big tips (and you cannot lie) this would be a good mouthpiece to try.
