Nearly all of the original silver plate is still intact. This amazing Super Balanced Action tenor just got a full overhaul in Paris followed by a thorough, full day setup here to get it just how I like. It plays its absolute best now, and is effortless in all registers. As with all of these, the low C-Bb are a bit sharp, so you lip them down a little. I am used to this from playing my RI’s and BA’s and it’s no big deal.  This SBA feels like a brand new saxophone under the fingers, and it looks even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. I’m selling this in a brand new BAM Cabine tenor case in silver, which really sets off the look of the horn, and represents about a $400+ added value included in the price. You’d be hard pressed to find a nicer, cleaner, better playing example of an early SBA. It will also go up in value while you own it.
