If you are looking for a Super 20, this is the vintage to get. Full pearls on side keys, palm keys and G#, lots of engraving, double socket neck. Neck is solid sterling silver, which gives you an unbeatable tone. This horn is one-owner! It has been lovingly cared-for since it was bought new in Kansas in 1954. There are no resolders, and only the tiniest evidence of a couple of dings having been removed. This is remarkable for a horn that is 63 years old. Similarly, the original neck has matching serial number and looks gorgeous with no past damage. The pads are medium-old, but this tenor still plays really well on them. A thorough setup with several pads replaced is included in the price, or if you want to get this overhauled, I will knock $300 off of the price and sell it to you with only the current old-but-sealing pads.

It includes both the original case (black and red version, showing wear and most of the edge binding missing on the case), and a new BAM Classic tenor case to keep it safe in shipping and while gigging.

Super 20 tenors from the best vintages are about 10x more rare than a 5-digit serial Selmer Mark VI. It is actually really hard to find one that is clean and nice like this. It makes a good investment too.

Only one available!
