This horn has a medium bright tone with enough character to make it an excellent horn for jazz, but it also has a clear enough tone and great intonation so that it is a popular choice for classical and ensemble playing. It’s the best do-it-all horn available today.

This 82z is in near mint condition. It looks great, with only minor lacquer scratching from playing, and a couple of tiny dings. Other than that, it looks new with no dents and excellent pads. This horn needs nothing out of the case and is one of the closest to getting a new 82z that you will find. It comes with the original case. The case is pictured below and it is also in near mint condition.
