This is a nearly mint condition Series III tenor. It looks and feels just like a new one, so it should be an easy, turn-key kind of purchase for somebody. I don’t see any past repairs, and there are no dents or dings. Original lacquer is nearly 100% as well, with just a couple of minor blemishes that are hard to see. It comes in the original Selmer BAM light case, which is an excellent case.
This horn has been adjusted as needed (didn’t need much) and it now plays extremely easily across the whole range, with a surprisingly robust tone. I am using my vintage Dukoff, so maybe that contributes some complexity, but I was surprised how rich the sound was from this horn. Intonation is excellent, as are the ergonomics, of course.
