This horn is in beautiful shape with gorgeous engraving and lacquer, and the tone really is reminiscent of the Mark VI vibe. This horn has not been played much, and pads are in quite good shape. This was just tuned up and got a professional “neck fit” by Matt Stohrer (which is a big job and really improves the horn’s response). It looks pretty much like a new saxophone. This is a turn-key purchase on a beautiful near mint Reference 54 alto for way less than the price of a new one. It comes the original BAM Selmer case which is both light and protective.
