This is a very nice original lacquer Selmer Mark VI Tenor SN75xxx from 1957. This is in the best range for the Mark VI tenor, and it plays great! There are no dents, dings, or resolders on the horn. This horn has almost all its original lacquer and it looks beautiful with gorgeous American engraving. The pads have plastic resos and they are in very good condition. The neck is original with matching serial number; it has not been pulled down. This horn has a dark core tone with a complex focused sound to it. It has a huge sound that is hard to beat compared to any tenor I’ve played.
