This is a near mint Selmer Mark VI tenor with about 99% of its original lacquer. This horn was babied its whole life, and it has virtually no wear at all. There are no dents, no dings, and no past repairs at all. The neck is perfect as well. Selmer stopped numbering necks before this serial number so there isn’t a number on the neck, but it’s definitely original to the horn. The pads on this horn are in good condition and should last for many years. It has american engraving and it looks gorgeous. This is pretty close to the serial number that Sonny Rollins plays, if you are interested in getting an idea for the tonal pallet available around this serial number.
This sax ships in its original gray Selmer case which is also in excellent condition.
