This is an exceptional King Super 20 tenor. I have always resisted all caps exaggerations in saxophone descriptions, but this horn deserves them. It plays circles around even a moderately good tenor. If you don’t like a fellow tenor player, all you will have to do to ruin his day, or his week, is to let him play your horn. If you are kind-hearted, you will refrain from letting anyone else play this.
Now, for the details: Original lacquer, in good shape, with moderate wear from playing (it deserves to be played). No dents, no dings, no resolders. Fresh, $1900 overhaul done by Phil Noy, who is the most in-demand saxophone repairman in Australia. The sale includes the used Hiscox case (latches don’t ‘spring’ anymore, but they work fine), which will keep the horn safe and get it to you in style.
If you have any more questions about it, let me know, but this is definitely a horn to get, as far as I am concerned. My personal Super 20 alto is a 338xxx, and the little brother of this one. It’s just a great saxophone.
