Conn Transitional Alto Silver Art Deco Excellent Condition Overhauled! 247007

This is an incredibly stunning example of an art deco engraved original silver plated Conn ‘transitional’ 6M alto saxophone. It cleaned up just as nicely as I hoped it would, with the gold wash all thick and bright. This was basically a time capsule that is now ready for its first owner, more or less. It is a HUGE player with an effortless low register, fat, full upper register, great intonation, and a ton of projection. You can tell I love conns from this specific period. It’s frankly kind of absurd that you can buy this level of instrument for anything like this price. It holds its own with the best altos you could find, regardless of price. Who knows when I’ll get another one this clean.
