This is a nice old Conn Soprano from the mid 1920’s. This is just before the nailfile G# key. It has almost all its original plating and all keys move and are in great shape. It has old pads and needs a repad to play well. These are great sopranos with a full, warm tone that is better than any modern soprano. The intonation is good but not great. You need to have a good sense of pitch because notes tend to be flexible – easy to bend up or down. This is a great horn in great shape that should make any player very happy, and it is being sold at a great price as well.
It ships in what appears to be the original case, and it comes with the original mouthpiece ligature and cap as well, though the mouthpiece has a nick in the tip. Any more questions, feel free to ask!
