Description
This is a BEAST of a Conn 12M baritone from the super-desirable Mulligan / Carney Transitional 12M years. (This one is 1930.) It has rare nickel plate finish. The last one I had that was nickel sold to the Musical Instrument Museum and is now it their collection. The durable nickel finish means that this horn will not really tarnish or wear thin even if you gig a LOT with it. No finish is more durable than nickel.
The pads are all new, and this thing just screams on them. It includes a new ProTec contoured case also. As you can see in the photos, this horn has been played quite a bit, and it shows lots of little dings throughout, and some past dent work as well. But for an 85 year-old vintage baritone, it’s still in remarkably good shape. These horns are really hard to find these days, and they are really popular. You can’t get anything like this sort of warmth and wideness of tone on a modern baritone.
There’s only one available. Get it now, before it’s gone.
