This is a gorgeous example of an original silver plate Conn 12M Baritone Saxophone. It just had a complete overhaul with all new everything, and it is in top playing condition now and ready to go! If you’ve been wanting a vintage baritone, the Conn 12M is the one to get! It’s the most desirable vintage baritone, and it feels almost like a tenor to hold and play. The tone is the reason to get one – warm, round, full, and extremely pleasant to listen to. Gerry Mulligan, Harry Carney etc. played these. This one has virtually no past repairs, and no dents or dings. The original silver is nearly 100%, and the gold wash in the bell is still intact. It sat in storage for most of its life, which is why it is in such clean condition. Then it got a thorough restoration recently and is still fresh and ready to go.
