King Super 20 SilverSonic Tenor 675165 Near Mint Original Lacquer

Can you find a more perfect late SilverSonic Tenor? No you cannot. This is SUPER clean – almost new old stock condition. Original pads have hardly been used, and it still plays surprisingly well on them, despite their being over 50 years old. The solid silver bell is gorgeous with its glowing gold wash inside. Nothing looks quite as good as these King bells. Silver neck is also perfect. What a time capsule. This was saved in a small collection by a pro tenor player. He double bagged the cases and just put the horns in the closet and left them for like 50 years! The matching alto sold already. This tenor is a superb deal. It plays medium bright, and has lots of projection. Feels great under the fingers. Super loud and punchy when pushed. You can cut through a band. This would be a great performing instrument if you need to play over a section or project over some guitars and drums. Looks amazing on stage as well. Priced super reasonably, and the price is firm.
