This is a top-quality Woodwind Co NY mouthpiece with no baffle, straight sidewalls and a medium chamber. The tip opening is 0.069″, This plays like an old Selmer soloist, with a little more projection. Dick Stabile was a virtuoso player with mad altissimo skills. Maybe this was one of his personal pieces? It’s hard to say. They usually just say ‘Dick Stabile model’ not ‘Special made for Dick Stabile,’ so maybe this is a cool collectible, in addition to being a nice all-purpose mouthpiece that is easy to play.
