Buffet Super Dynaction Alto 17xxx

This is one very nice vintage Buffet Super Dynaction, which was their top pro model alto saxophone from the 50’s through the 70’s. No past damage, no past repairs at all. Recent, fresh overhaul, and it plays great. It is in really excellent condition – it has hardly been played at all and looks gorgeous. There’s virtually no wear even on the usual touch points. It plays nicely with a big, warm French core to the tone. It is Selmer-like, but with a bigger sound overall and a warm, projecting voice. It is medium bright and open with a nice complex core and quite a bit of power. This horn will literally do it all. The beautiful, original Lifton case comes with it, also in excellent condition.
