Guardala Handmade King Tenor Mouthpiece

This is a Guardala Handmade King tenor mouthpiece. It is in excellent condition with some wear on the table where the original gold plating was bubbling up a bit, and I cleaned it up. If anything, this improves playability. There’s a bit of tooth wear on the bite plate, and it’s overall in great shape. This comes from the original owner who bought it from Guardala in the 80’s. It plays with what I call an “instant professional tenor” sort of tone – you sound like a pro, and the projection and response are also great. There’s a reason why these pieces are desirable. Such beautiful file work and thin rails, and just effortless to play.
