This is a beautiful Selmer Series II Alto Sax. There is no past damage, no past repairs. It’s in great shape. Pads are a mix of older and new and are sealing well. These are probably the most commonly requested Selmers for serious saxophone study. This is a very smart buy, compared to spending over $6100 on a new Selmer Series II Alto.
This horn comes with the original neck and original case, all in excellent condition. If you want to upgrade to a BAM case to take the weight off your arms and back, I can give you a good deal on the case of your choice. The Selmer Series II is a great do-it-all alto for serious players, and should continue to go up in value while you own and enjoy it. It’s a smart buy.
