Description

This is an exceptionally fine example of a Conn 10M tenor. It has almost all of its original lacquer intact, and it has had minimal past damage (only a small crease in the bell flare that was removed). The original neck is gorgeous, there are no resolders or other issues. Matt Stohrer is among the best saxophone repairmen in the business today, and he has a long wait to get in for an overhaul. If you are looking for a beautiful, clean example of a 10M from the prime serial range, and you want it overhauled by Matt (which costs around $1750+) then here you go. Includes a nearly new Hiscox Pro II tenor case ($379 value) to protect the horn.

This 10M plays just like a 10M should – big, bold, more spread and velvety than any modern horn, but more centered and slotted in than earlier Conns. It has great intonation, and it is better made than just about any other saxophone ever. This horn is totally ready to go with that full overhaul by Matt. If you want a top-quality 10M, look no further. Only one available.

We pay the best prices for great saxophones.
