Description
This is an MC Gregory alto piece SN6996 stamped MC Gregory Hollywood Rico Corporation, 5A stamp by the table. This measures .076″ and is like a modern 6 tip. It is original facing with curved machine marks down the table, rails and tip. It has a little tooth wear on the bite area. Plays great with a dry, west coast type of sound! I love these pieces for alto. They are really hard to beat for an all-around jazz alto tone that doesn’t sound like everybody else. I play a similar piece on alto myself sometimes along with my GS Special / NY Meyer.
