Description
Condition wise, there are a couple of resolders that you can see close ups of below. The octave key posts on the neck and the post for the high E key touch in the middle of the horn. Besides that, there have been some minor dents removed from the back of the bow, and a small one from the neck. That’s pretty great for an 80+ year old saxophone. This horn also recently got a full top-shelf overhaul, and is play its best. You can play a fully-saturated low Bb at pianissimo with ease. The sound just jumps out of the horn. It’s tons of fun to play and pure 30’s jazz power.
It includes the BAM Softpack tenor case in the photos, which is the best case for a vintage Conn Art Deco Transitional Tenor in my opinion bar-none. It is great for gigging, and will also protect the sax well in shipping.
I take risk-free returns of the full purchase price less shipping if you are unhappy with your saxophone for any reason. There’s only one available! If you have been looking for a Conn that has it all, that you can just play, enjoy, and that will also be a great investment, this Conn Art Deco Transitional Tenor is the one to get.
