Yanagisawa A-901 Alto Saxophone Near Mint

The Yanagisawa A-901 is a horn that I played for many years, so I know it well. It has a clear, round, medium bright tone that works great for all kinds of playing situations. The intonation and ergonomics are also very good across the board. It’s an ideal alto for a serious player on a budget. You get a top quality horn that holds its value without spending a lot.

This particular horn has virtually no wear and is in near mint condition. There are some light scratches in the lacquer on the back of the body, but that’s about it. It plays great and will not need any setup work to play great right out of the case. Since these horns are built really well, all they need is the periodic tune up and they go forever (like the Honda of the saxophone world). It ships in the original Yanagisawa case in good condition.
