This is a really beautiful Mark VI tenor in original condition with no past damage. It has no dents or dings or resolders. The original neck has the matching serial number and it is not pulled down. This horn has about 98% of the original lacquer present with a little bit of wear on the back of the body tube. It still has the original pads and domed metal resonators intact, but I can have it overhauled by Matt Stohrer for you if you want it to play its best. Just send me an email and we can talk.

The price is somewhat flexible, and trades are possible. Late 70k horns are more similar in tone to the famed 80k horns than many people realize. The correct grouping in terms of sound should be 70k-80k and 90k-100k because the 70k and 80k horns (that I have played at least) all have a dark core with lots of power, but the 90k-100k horns have more punch and a little more brightness to the tone. That’s my take on it at least. It ships in a beautiful brown leather original Selmer case.
