This is a very vintage Otto Link ‘4****’ model Master Link that is also a 4* tip stamped on the table but was opened to a 6* at .095″. Cavernous chamber, scooped sidewalls, slight rollover baffle. Pharoah Sanders played one of these for a long time before switching to a GS Slant of all things. Tip opening measures 0.095″, and must have received a good reface at some point. This piece plays with an airy Ben Webster-Esque subtone all the time for me. Very good at what it does.
