Description
Rare new old stock example of a Selmer Scroll Shank metal soprano saxophone mouthpiece like John Coltrane played on his Mark VI soprano. If you have a Selmer soprano, these Selmer pieces really improve the intonation, as they have a small chamber that is precisely designed to tune with the bore of a Mark VI. And as we all know, intonation is one of the main obstacles to good soprano playing. Plus the tone is nice and focused and reedy, a la Coltrane. Hard to beat if that’s the sound you want.
